This Christmas season finds me with the youngest just turned sixteen, and thinking about what it will mean to obtain a driver's licence of her own. Ideally, a practice permit test would give her an edge in my opinion in working towards that goal, so I have been doing some research on driver education, and what is available online.
Tests in the United States of America such as an Ohio practice permit test are probably not all that different from what is involved with Canadian tests. Additionally a free permit practice test NY state geared, should be fairly similar to other US states, and potentially Canadian provinces.
I confess I do not know too much about these types of driver tests as I personally never got beyond my learner's permit. Living in a large urban centre with plenty of public transport options, and to be completely honest a lack of funds to operate a vehicle without making sacrifices elsewhere for the sake of owning a car has made it less of a priority for me. This said, my middle daughter has her driver's licence, and I think it is a great idea for the youngest to work on getting hers as well.
Hopefully there are some good Canadian resources for practice tests available freely online. I think driver education and safety are very important for any new perspective driver.
