Photo Identified As Deceased Man

This photo was shared with us over the Christmas holidays by Dr Kimberly Molto a research scientist specializing in neurobiology in Ontario. The photo was taken by a widow in 1938 who identifies the figure seen in the photo as her deceased husband. The photo was taken (according to his widow) several years after he died of a massive coronary in the basement that he had been renovating.

Please note that I cropped the photo during the scanning purpose to center the image.

This is one of those photos where you either believe the photographer's information or you don't. I find it to be a very interesting photograph!

Oh wow. o_o That's an amazing photo. Absolutely amazing.

Speaking of... when I visited Old Whitby Psych a while back (while I was still in College at Durham) I took a picture of the side door of one of the buildings (#22, I think it was - the long one that's still standing). I can't tell if this is just from the reflection in the door or anything, but I remember it got VERY cold and very windy the longer I was taking pictures. I don't have the original anymore, just this cropped image. :-/

I'm curious as to why one would take a picture of that particular space in the home.

Maybe it was some type of synchronicity and he wanted her to take a picture down there to show her that she wants to make sure that she passes away with clothes on since he appears to be shirtless.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. lol

"Dr Kimberly Molto"

"Molto" (or "multo" in Tagalog) means "ghost". Funny coincidence?

I was thinking the same thing as Atrueoriginall. I'm curious as to why someone would take a picture of that particular area.

This may be just me, but I've been kind of staring at this photo for a few mins. It kind of looks like the man has his hand on his hip. His arm makes that loop like his hand is on his hip and the broom is leaning against his elbow. To me the image almost looks fake just how the figure and object are positioned. Like one is overlaying on to the other. Of course I could be wrong. Just my opinion.
