Best Ghost Investigation Equipment

The best equipment, necessary on all investigations, is pen, paper, eyes, ears, and critical, logical thinking. Beyond that, we personally don't have too many "machines that go PING!" So if you are thinking of starting up your own group, or would like to try investigating the paranormal on your own do not let the cost of overly priced "ghost hunting" equipment discourage you. It's not necessary, and more often than not => not even justifiable as an expense.

There is not nor has there ever been any one piece of equipment that can with 100% certainty detect ghosts....and since no one can actually prove what a ghost is or what one might possibly be made up of....it is rather silly to think there are devices that will absolutely detect "them."

What we do use equipment is dependent on the investigation... and is, if interested, covered in our free online coursebook.

I think you are correct about some ghost hunters who use devices. I'm a bit skeptical of some of the equipment TAPS uses mostly because its not really made for detecting ghosts so the most you could really say is that it has detected 'something'. I put more faith in their cameras over all of their heat signatures, and EMF dectectors.
