    Natural Remedies & Cleansers

Natural remedies, and folk medicine is often ignored these days for skin complaints such as acne treatment in favour of more modern solutions. I wonder if these 21 century treatment options are actually more effective than the ancient ones?

One thing I have recently started using on my own skin both internally, and externally is cold pressed extra virgin olive oil. The ancient romans actually used it for skin care, and within one month I have noted a positive difference.
