RIP Patrick Swayze
It was with much sadness that I learned of the death of Patrick Swayze of pancreatic cancer yesterday. Not only was he a beacon of hope for my Mother who died from the same illness last month, but he was also a fine actor, and dancer in my opinion.
In fact he starred in one of my fave paranormal themed movies, Ghost along with Demi Moore. Ghost is one of the few movies I have seen several times, while still playing in the theatre!
RIP Patrick Swayze.

This news made me sad. He was an AMAZING dancer, this is an unfortunate (but sadly, expected) loss. :( 
Very sad ... :( 
I only recently got to see the movie Ghost, with Patrick Swayze and was surprised at the life he brought to his role,,(pun intended),,before that I only knew of him for his performance in Roadhouse which was accurate and compelling and as for his dancing,,,his mother, being an iconic dance instructor fortunately meant that he had access to the opportunity to develop and share his gift. While making Roadhouse he became friends with Jeff Healey, another gifted performer, who shared his talent and time with us.
