Do Dolls Scare You?

A fair amount of people have doll phobias, and as a collector of them I sometime find it hard to understand why. Some of mine unnerve the kid.

I have doll kept permanently in our bedroom that cannot come out because it freaks her out too much. I tried bringing the doll out recently, and she freaked so back the doll went out of sight, and I guess out of mind.

I brought her out to my desk for the photo op.

I like her. In fact I think she is quite adorable. And considering I collect day of the dead art, other assorted skeletons/skulls, death masks, religious idols, alien inspired stuff, gargoyles including some very demonic looking statues, items from reportedly haunted locations all scattered about I have no idea why the kid finds this doll so scary? And neither does she really...
