Paranormal Hotspots

Of interest, I've noticed that (blank) "hotspots" seem to be everywhere... but especially where there are active people interested in (blank) field.

Using my forte as a example, I can't think of a single ghost group that doesn't list it's own area as a "paranormal hotspot"... well... except Toronto which did say that, per capita and per "story", we don't measure up to other areas of the province.

Other than that, much like "ley lines", if we were to mark so-called "paranormal hotspots" on a globe, I think only the poles and some of the oceans would be "ink free".

When I see websites and groups saying things like "Dayton, Ohio is the MOST haunted city in North America..." or "Kentucky has an incredible amount of bigfoot sightings..." or things like that, based on nothing more than the author's (or webmaster's) own thoughts and conceptions, you'll forgive me if I'm a little cynical, and not always wearing my paranormal, rose-colored eyeglasses.
