Halloween tends to be quite a busy time for us, and while we do appreciate hearing from people, this time of year tends to bring with it more than the fair share of stupidity associated with these topics. Here are just a couple of highlights on top of the normal hoaxers, and other assorted nonsense that we have come to expect during the month of October.
The producer who was looking for people to talk about their haunted houses, and ghostly experiences for a new show to debut on the Comedy Network! No. I'm not kidding ![]()
As one of our readers suggested maybe they're thinking of sending up all of those cheesy investigation programs....kinda like scary movie?
The dude who filmed himself breaking into an empty building and removing the "no trespassing sign" while doing I can only guess a bad Strongbad imitation. Not only did he film himself committing a crime, then post it to the internet, he admitted he was looking for ghosts, and SURPRISE hehehe you guessed it...he had a spooky encounter ![]()
Hopefully this was an isolated thrill-seeker Halloween thing, because empty buildings oftentimes are that way for the protection of people, as the building may not be structurally sound anymore (not to mention an insurance liability). If he continues, he may become a candidate for the Darwin Awards, and I would not wish that on anyone.
And finally....if you are reading this NO I do not believe the ghostis stealing your panties because in life he/she/it had a fetish...![]()
I could continue on with the "historian" who claims zombies chase people out of graveyards etc...but I'm certain you've had enough, I know we have.
Best line to come out the 2008 Halloween season "I AM a paranormal researcher, I don't just want to play one on TV" ![]()
And that wraps up another Halloween for TGHRS, OGHRS, ParaResearchers, and PSICAN.
