There is a lot of talk about how Bill C-51 will affect the Canadian health food industry, and the consumer. Everything from vitamins to weight loss products like Leptitrex may be affected by this proposed legislation. I am all for consumer protection, but some people believe this bill is going too far.
Would be interested in Canadian readers thoughts on this. What do you guys & gals think? Is this going to be harmful? Is it just a means to get rid of snake oil salesmen?
I am not that familiar with the topic, but I am fairly mistrustful of the current Conservative government in the first place, and some of the awful bills that have recently been put on the table that blatantly are pushing a very narrow-minded agenda. ![]()
