Thankfully the days of orb photography when every bit of airborne particle photographed by would-be ghost hunters was posted to the net seem to finally be over.

However, there are still many paranormal websites cluttered with orbs to be found on the internet, and although some are obviously long abandoned they still manage to put out much misinformation to the general public.

Today I got an email from someone insisting that the orb photo they sent me last week had to be "real" because they had vacuumed the room prior to snapping their digital pics.

My answer was along these lines...

You could have the power of a thousand Sebo vacuums, and you will still not be dust-free. In fact, if NASA cannot guarantee dust free environments, how can you????
