Wordless Wednesday - "Scrooge and the Ghost of Christmas Present,"

Scrooge and the Ghost of Christmas Present, by John Leech. Made for Charles Dickens's novel A Christmas Carol (1843). Traditionally Christmas is the time for a good ghost story.

Since I will probably not be playing along in next week's Wordless Wednesday I thought I would take this opportunity to wish all my fellow WW participants a very merry Christmas if you celebrate it, and all the best in the upcoming year!

Happy Wordless Wednesday - Tuesday Edition, and thank you for stopping by!

I love the Ghost of Christmas Present--especially as he appears in the Albert Finney version of the story.

Merry Christmas; my mum was given a copy of A Christmas Carol with that illustration in when she was a child in the early 40s. it was a joint Christmas/birthday present as her birthday is the 21st. Thanks for reminding me to get the book out, I'll read it again over Christmas!
