Important Prostate Cancer Treatment
I wanted to take this opportunity to blog about the topic of a new and innovative prostate cancer treatment today as it is a subject that is near, and dear to my heart. My Uncle Mike passed away from prostate cancer several years ago. New revolutionary treatments like high intensity focused ultrasound or simply known as HIFU are cutting edge, and offer real hope to people!
HIFU is very similar to the kidney stone treatments I had in that it uses sound waves to blast away at the cancer. How cool is that!
