    Wordless Wednesday - Blithe Spirit

So how many of you remember this fun 1945 ghost film? It starred Rex Harrison, Constance Cummings, Margaret Rutherford, (pictured above) and Kay Hammond. It was made long before I was born, and I do consider it a classic amongst ghostly themed movies. The actress who plays the "bumbling medium" in ways is not only accurate in her portrayal, but was herself in fact a spirit medium!

Happy Wordless Wednesday, and thank you for stopping by!

Chris (remoteplanet)It's been a long long time since I've seen that one - perhaps way back when I was a kid at home during summers, and the CBC ran old British movies in the afternoon. I'll have to track that one down for another viewing. Thanks!

Chris (remoteplanet)Speaking of those CBC afternoon movies... have you ever seen The Man With The White Suit? I think Alec Guiness was in it. A great movie. Ealing Studios used to churn out some good ones in the 50s and 60s!
