Vampires from Beyond the Moon

Vampires from Beyond the Moon is a fascinating article, and read that has been posted to the Cabinet Of Wonders blog. The article takes a look at reports of alien beings that appeared to have exhibited "vampire-like" qualities, and lists its sources.

I particularly enjoy paranormal reading material that is willing to examine what on the surface appears to be two different events, yet upon closer look may have more in common than we at first believe. Similar to my thoughts on poltergeists or "noisy spirits" having much in common with many alien abduction reports.

It's definitely worth a read. Check it out!

I think I've read about this somewhere before. Seems like aliens are tied to alot of different phenomenon.

They don't call it High Strangeness for nothing. The more I look into this stuff the more I scratch my head. Some researchers easily discount incidents like these, but I think that could be a mistake in getting to the real truth of it all. What that is - I have no idea.

Andrea -> Yes, there are similarities in many reports. I read just last night a Russian folk tale from pre revolution that has several earmarks of alien folklore.

HSA -> It is the cases of "high strangeness" that fascinate me the most!

It reminds me of how many abductees see the alien beings more representational of what the persons mind can understand or make sense of. We know there are reports of alien taking substances from humans to study. Also some say that they need certain human fluids for reproduction/hybrids.
When I hear recounts as this I tend to wonder if the experience translated by their own minds and understanding may be the same thing that abductees are experiencing now.
