Exopolitics Toronto Offer To Brief Governor General
OTTAWA (CP) - A UFO researcher who offered to brief Gov. Gen. Michaelle Jean on the presence of extraterrestrials is putting an optimistic spin on the pro-forma response he received from her office.
Victor Viggiani of Exopolitics Toronto, admits that the perfunctory reply could be seen as a polite brush off, but he's taking it as more than that.
The letter from the Governor General's office says Viggiani's concerns "would be best addressed by the Canadian Space Agency and the Canadian Security Intelligence Service."
"You may wish to contact these organizations."
Said Viggiani: "You could interpret it in one way as a standard response. But we're interpreting it, I guess, in a positive way that we now have the Governor General's OK to pursue this thing in the Canadian security service . . . with her support.
"She's giving us sort of, quote unquote, her permission, consent, tacit permission to go forward with this."

While I have doubts about the whole UFO thing, it should be investigated.
Hummm...I approach everything paranormal with the same ideal. I have a mindset for discovery and a belief in things that isn't quite scientific, but isn't quite all encompassing spiritual either.
I believe in reincarnation, yet it is not because a dogma tells me so. It is from this little knawing memory locked within my brain. Even if I have no tangable proof...I still believe it.
It is the same attitude for ghosts, UFOs, and things Crypto.
I desire proof all the time, and anything I can consider proof is just imagination to someone else.
So my mind is open, and knowing in the knowledge that what I believe is not what someone else believes. I can see the skeptics point of view, but the little memory bank in the back of my mind says a solid "I believe" when it shouts out at me.
If Michelle Jean wrote that, then take it as far as you can Man. She is not stupid and would know that the words could be taken in two context, and perhaps that is exactly what she was desiring to put in writing.
Many folks have the innate ability to say truth that could be read by many people in the way that suits them most comfortably.
I don't know if I believe there are aliens on Earth, but if there are, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the government covered it all up. 
I've always had problems buying into any vast government cover up theory because I just don't see the government being able to manage something that complicated for any length of time. There's just too much incompetence on too many levels for them to pull it off ;)
