The Passing Of A Canadian UFOlogist

Henry McKay - 1927 - 2007

It was with sadness that we learned of the passing of Henry
McKay, earlier this month. Henry was a long standing contributor to Canadian ufology and former MUFON Director for Canada.

He had taken a turn for the worse early in the new year and never recovered. He had just turned 80.

Henry McKay had made invaluable contributions to UFO research in Canada. A book that I reviewed just last year The Missing Seven Hours, by David Haisell is in large part based on Henry's investigation into this fascinating case.

I had plans to meet with Henry this past November along with his niece who is following in her uncle's footsteps, in the hopes of interviewing him, but unfortunately that meeting never took place. His presence within UFOlogy will be sorely missed.

Our deepest condolences go out to Michelle McKay, and her family at this time.
