Anyone got an explanation for this or seen anything like it?
It only happens in one room in my girlfriends flat and we've both seen it separately and together.
A small squarish bright white light appears lasting only for a few seconds. Its strong enough to wake us up but we've seen in whilst we're in the room not in bed too.

Its concentrated light so its not a reflection and we've done all sorts of moving things arounds like digital equipment to ensure its not a faulty appliance. Its happened in all sorts of weather so doesn't seem to be a weather event either.

Any ideas anyone?

In June of 2010, my family and I descended upon Niagara Falls for a short vacation. It wasn't until we returned home and looked at other possible sites to see in Niagara Falls on the internet when we learned of the BGT and the Screaming Ghost Tunnel, located in Thorold, Ont. It is now November 2010 and we've been to both tunnels at least 5 or 6 times since June of 2010 .... needless to say these sites totally blew me away!!!
The fact that it is hidden by thick vegetation growth makes this tunnel,(erected in the late 1800's), extremely eerie.
I investigated further into the myths of the B.G.T. and learned of the history of the Welland Canal which made this site even more luring to me.
The story of Canadas worst train wreck of it's time back in 1913 or 1915, where 2 men perished in the wreck, the story of 4 little boys playing downstream from one of the locks when it was nudged by a vessel which created a huge flow of water and swept 2 boys to their deaths and the story of the Old German Church and the cemetary that is now under water in the Pondage area, which still hosts 663 graves dated back to the 1700's and 1800's ... AMAZING!!!
Since viewing these sites, I'd like to take this "hobby" a step further by finding out how one becomes a member of your group, which is why I'm leaving you this blog. I live in Kingston, Ontario and would very much like to join your team on one of your expeditions and don't really know who to ask about this, so here's hoping you'll have an answer for me.
Personally, I'm teetering on the edge of believing and not believing, but one thing I do believe in is that we are all uniquely different from one another and feel that there is more in store for all of us than life on earth ... I just can't believe that once you die it's all over, I believe there IS something more.
If you think there is room for another member, please feel free to contact me through my e-mail, as I'm kind of computer illiterate and don't understand what an URL is, so please forgive me! (but a response would be GREATLY appreciated). Please send any replies to SSSSSSSSSMOKIN@MSN.COM (I hope this isn't breaking any rules by posting my e-mail).
Thank You

Hi Brian and no, you didn't break any rules here really... but your comment is kind of on an inappropriate posting on the blog as we do have a couple of posts about being a member of our team(s)... but I an grateful as it gives me a reason to do a new posting about these things including showing people our new "Rules of Governance", and answering your question specifically in a way...

The main "new" post might take a little while, but the "cut down" version of it is as follows...

For information about joining Torontoghosts/Ontarioghosts (PSICAN's ghost folks in Ontario,) just surf on over to...
http://www.psican.org/links/joiningontarioghosts/

...but before heading there, you might want to read those "Rules of Governance" to ensure we're the best fit for you...
http://www.psican.org/PSICAN_Gen-Inf_Codes.pdf

I do hope this is helpful...
